Update to the Update

Things are looking stable right now. They gave him two units (2x300 ccs) of blood and his blood counts are back up where they should be. He's not draining any more thru the chest tube, so it seems to just have been whatever was built up. They are weaning him back off of the epinephrin.

The swallow test was cancelled, but his nurse said she'll try to bring that up.

They haven't done the bronch scope yet because his oxygen saturation is good, so they don't want to sedate him if they don't need to do it.

I asked about his attitude/spirits, and his nurse said he was sleeping. He woke up during this call and she told him who was calling and if he wanted to tell me anything, and he gave her the thumbs-up. His current nurse, Kathy, is really helpful with giving us updates. She said to call as often as I like.
