Well, Daddy & Chuck have been talking about childhood and solving the words problems yesterday and today. Chuck has been showing him pictures, which are his favorite pastime.
A volunteer came by today to talk to Daddy about the heart transplant process. This volunteer has had a heart transplant and goes to talk to people about it. This person did not qualify for a VAD and went straight to transplant, but he counsels people who have VADs and don't qualify for transplants as well.
Yesterday, after helping Daddy stand up, the staff actually eased off and let him stand up ALL BY HIMSELF! YAY!
There is talk of evaluating him for rehab, but no action yet. Probably next week. Medical-wise things seem to be quiet--which is a GOOD thing. In fact, the doctors never rounded on Daddy today.
