Daddy is very frustrated about still not being able to talk. He is very fragile, too... I asked the nurse about ice chips, but she said they weren't sterile and that in his condition they didn't want to risk anything. It will take a while for him to get used to swallowing after having been intubated for so long. They don't want anything to go down the wrong pipe. She did swab his mouth with sterile water. I asked about giving him chapstick and got to do that.
I started reading him Wool, by Hugh Howey. After 3 chapters, he drifted off. Yes, it is my mission to get everyone hooked on the Siloverse.
