Follow up CT at 3a last night showed improvement, so they took the drain out (which I have not told you about yet. Anyway, it's out now.) Next one is at 2p. INR is 1.5, which is what they wanted it to be. (It was still 1.7 when they took him to the OR yesterday which is too high and increases the chance of another re-bleed.) Last night he was having some trouble smiling for his neuro check, but the nurse said he was smiling and frowning just fine for her this morning. So he seems perfectly fine neuro-wise.
He has 24 hrs of horizontal time with only the movement necessary for neuro checks allowed. They did take him off of the ventilator after surgery, which is AWESOME. So, things are looking good, for what they are.
Glad things are going well!!!!
