They just rolled him out for an 8am operation. They are closing up his chest and assessing the right side.
He did have another VTAC at 3am. They upped his sedation as a result, so I didn't get the impression that he recognized me. He did respond to commands from the doctor though.
This shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. Hanging out in the waiting room. More when it becomes available.
